The proxy vote is in and finalized - Barrett Station Place has OPTED IN to the St. Louis County trash program. We recently received official confirmation from the county that our opt in was successful.
The turn out from mail and email vote was uncharacteristically high. Thank you to everyone who voted. Ken, Matt, and I appreciate you making your opinions known. At the time of the filing the vote was 33-2. We received a few more votes since then to make it 35-5 in favor of opting in.
We are in District 4, so on September 29, 2008 our neighborhood trash provider will be Veolia Environmental Services (800.372.1020). If you are not currently using Veolia, you may want to contact your current provider to discuss the changeover.
