In an effort to increase attendance and lower costs, the trustees of Barrett Station Place are hosting the first ever Online Neighborhood Meeting.  The meeting will be conducted over the web using www.dimdim.com on Wednesday, April 14th at 7:30 PM.

This meeting is for everyone, even if you don’t own a computer.  We’re offering multiple options to make sure that everyone can participate.  Choose the one that suits you best:

(A) Go to www.dimdim.com. Listen in using your computer’s speakers. Offer ideas by speaking into your microphone, or using DimDim’s chat feature.

(B) Go to www.dimdim.com and call in using the Conference Phone Number.

(C) Omit the website, and just call in to the Conference Phone Number: 702.473.3463, Pass Code 227738

(D) Or, if you do not want to use the web or the phone, join the meeting in person at Andy Trout’s home, located at the south entrance of Hidden Meadow: 2300 Hidden Meadow Lane

If you plan to use the website, please email jjk@mitchellblackwood.com.  He’ll add your name to the roster, and the DimDim site will send you a link to confirm the meeting details and allow you to join with one click on April 14th.

We will try to keep this meeting as brief as possible while still addressing all of your concerns.  Among other topics, we will discuss the budget, 2010 dues, the election of a new trustee,  landscaping issues, and road construction updates.

Most notably, the neighborhood has approximately $36,000 to spend on the eventual re-construction of new entrances. We will need to form an architectural committee to help plan the look of the new entrance, which could include landscaping, a new display, and water an electric access.

We look forward to a successful meeting with you on April 14th, and if you have questions or concerns in advance, please call (318.984.8661) or email JJ Kirkpatrick.
