Is anyone ever going to cut the grass at our entrances? That's been the inquiry from more than one homeowner, and the short answer is: Yes.
The increase in neighborhood dues was largely the result of rising landscaping costs, which represents almost our entire budget. To help reduce dues next year, we sought competitive bids from many new companies for 2009.
In the end, TruGreen had the most competitive offer, and they will be taking care of our mowing, weed control, and vegetation kill needs.
Our first mow has been rained out a few times, and we hoped it would happen on April 21st, but there wasn't room on the schedule. We will call on Wednesday the 22nd to reinforce our need to get it done immediately.
